Senior Interior Designer
We are actively seeking a design leader to help grow our interior design department. We are looking for a creative and outgoing interior designer / interior architect that will work well with our team of thoughtful and experienced employees on a variety of residential, hospitality, retail, and office projects. As part of our design team, you will engage with Chicago area and nationwide business leaders in a creative and fast-paced environment. We are looking for an exceptional person who can have a formative impact on both our work and on the communities in which we work.
Duties of the position include:
Lead a team through the interior design process from programming through construction documents.
Communicate design vision through images, renderings and concept drawings.
Develop project schedules and budgets.
Develop documentation, details, and specifications for use during construction.
Engage in Interior Design marketing efforts.
You will report directly to partners and sometimes work alongside a Senior Project Architect
A 4-year Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
10 years’ experience on interior design projects with experience with interior and millwork detailing and specifications.
NCIDQ Certification, Architect’s License or path to professional credentialing in the next 12 months required.
Strong creative aptitude with an attention to detail.
Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to motivate and mentor staff, delegate work assignments and work well with others.
Working knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office suite.

Our Job Captains are creative and technically minded individuals that make projects come together. As a Job Captain, you will collaborate with a creative team, under the direction of a Senior Project Architect, to coordinate consultants and documents on a wide variety of projects types from design through construction. If you are a graduate of an accredited school of architecture, a strong team player with positive attitude and a working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD, we would like to hear from you!
We are actively seeking outgoing and energetic individuals with 0 to 5 years of work experience to become a part of our firm as a Drafter. Our success is built on the talent of the employees that prepare our drawings. Become a key to our success by working on a variety of project types with a Senior Project Architect and Job Captain through all phases of design and construction.
