Accomplished using “as-of-right” zoning to avoid the time-consuming Planned Development process, the solution was a “snake” shaped building weaving around two deep courtyards which are landscaped as private parks for residents.

The architectural language of the facades was inspired by buildings found throughout the West Loop, and by their “Sullivanesque” brick and terra cotta detailing.
